Since its inception in 1978, Run with the Champ has helped keep the community active and healthy while raising funds for the youth. Returning now in 2012, the Larry Holmes Charitable Foundation is on a mission to continue that legacy.
The Race is open to both adults and children and will start in Scott Park. Registration begins at 8:30a.m. and the race will begin at 10:00a.m. followed by the walk and fun run for children under 12. Registration for the event is now open at www.tlhcf.org
We will be giving out awards for the following: Overall Male, Overall female, top 3 in each of the following age groups, 18& under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Easton native Cpl. Dan Lasko will be honored as well as participating in the Run with the Champ. Lasko fought in Afghanistan in 2004 and received a purple heart. He is a prime example of local heroes giving back.
